A: Generally after the photo shoot is completed, customers sit down and look through the raw images. I'll explain the typical adjustments I do to all photographs, checking exposures, light colors, etc. Then customers compile a list of prints to order. Alternatively, I can upload images to a website for customers to review at a later time.
A: We have a variety of backgrounds suitable to many color combinations and physical characteristics. Your most important initial choice is to coordinate the clothing for everyone included in the portraits. There are some general guidelines useful to consider when planning for your session. When in doubt, bring extra outfits. A changing area is available. Some specific guidelines to remember include:
- Dark clothing helps slim appearance.
- Long sleeves usually are preferable in portraits
- Avoid clothing that is either too tight or too loose.
- High heels make ladies' legs look more toned and shapely
- Bring matching undergarments. For example, guys bring dark socks to match dark clothes.

A: Usually within just a couple of days unless extensive photo editing is requested.
A: Sure. All portraits receive professional image retouching at no extra charge. Retouching includes adjusting optimal lighting, color, shadowing, as well as retouching of skin or hair features. Photoshop eding, including moving people or combining elements from multiple photographs may entail additional charges.
A: Sure. Senior sessions are often done on location, as are weddings and other events.
A: We use state of the art professional digital cameras which do not use film. There are no negatives. Digital images are retained should you wish to receive additional prints in the future.
A: We try to accomodate each individual customers specific needs. We are happy to produce quality prints in a variety of sizes. Some customers may wish to choose sizes and framing options from a website and receive finished, wall-ready art. We can produce excellent quality photo albums. And some customers may simply wish to purchase their images digitally on a CD..
A: We keep our costs as low as possible. Quality photography can be affordable. The portrait studio is part of our home so we don't have to pay extra rent. While some expensive equipment is essential (true professional cameras, lenses, and lighting), we strive to keep equipment costs modest. You will final no better value in eastern Idaho when hiring a photographer.
